Dior as a puppy
Achievements: Dior comes to us from his breeder Sherry Sims of Simco Shelties. We thank Sherry for sharing such a wonderful dog with us. Currently only 17 months old he is already an American Champion and finished quickly in a little over a month from the puppy classes, his finishing win was out of the 12-18 month puppy class. He has 11 Grand Champion points. Being shown only four times as a special, he has won the breed once- which went on to a Group 3 win, has won Best of Opposite and Select Dog twice.
* Update 6/8/14: first time with me showing him since getting this stunning boy, Dior goes Select dog at the McKinley Kennel club show for another point towards his Grand Championship! This bring him up to 12 points (with 2 majors and all of his champion defeated wins) towards his grand championship.
*Update 6/15/14: Dior takes select both days at that Clarksburg show, winning a point each day. He is now up to 14 grand championship points.
* Update 7/5/14: Dior wins Best of Breed for 2 more Grand Champion points and now has 16 points towards his grand Championship at the Huntington Kennel club show.
* Update 7/6/14: at the 2nd day of the Huntington show Dior once again takes Best Of Breed this time for a 3 point major- which is the last major that he needed towards his Grand Championship. He now has 19 points with all majors and all needed champions defeated towards his Grand Championship.
* Update 8/23 & 8/24/14: At the Magic Valley Shows Dior takes select both days for a point more each day towards his Grand. He now has 21 points towards his Grand and needs just 4 single points to finish it.
* Update 9/27/14: Dior at the International Shows in Westminster, MD takes three straight V-1 ratings and is now an International Champion!
* Update 5/17/15: Dior goes Select for another Grand Champion point. He also wins Best of breed Owner Handled and went on to win an Owner Handled Group 2!
* Update 6/14/15: At the Greater Clarksburg WV Kennel Club shows this past weekend (6/13 & 6/14) My Dior wins the following: Sat he goes Best Of Breed (Over a Grand Champion special that is top 10 ranked and being shown by a handler) for 2 Grand Champion points. And then on Sunday he goes Best Of Opposite sex for 1 Grand Champion Point. All owner handled. These were the final points that he needed to now be a GRAND CHAMPION!
So he is now GRD AM & INT CH. Simco Rock Paper Scissors! Yippee
